Parshall girls fall in regional qualifying game

Parshall’s girls basketball season ended in the District 15 tournament in Watford City Monday night when the New Town Eagles knocked off their in-county rival by a score of 71-45.
New Town was never threatened in this one as the Eagles opened the game up early, taking a 21-7, first-quarter lead and advancing each quarter thereafter. Parshall had a good fourth quarter, but New Town had already built an insurmountable lead and it was too little too late for the Lady Braves to make a comeback.
Rayessa Odermann was the only Parshall player to reach into double figures with her 11. Devanee Hale added 9 and Nicole Packineau, 8. Desiree Wells, Destiny Steele, Maisey Gillies and Alexis Woods also got in the scoring column.
