Parshall netters drop two close games

The Parshall Braves Volleyball team came very close to getting some wins this week, but were turned back by the Trenton Tigers and Sawyer Flashes in two nip and tuck home matches.

In both matches, the Braves had games go into extra points. Against the Tigers, the Braves forced them to go to 27-25 to take the first game. They Braves played strong in the second game as well, but fell with a score of 25-21. The Tigers picked up steam and finished out the match with a 25-17 and 3 games to none victory. The victory raised Trenton’s record to 8-2 while the Braves dropped to 3-5. However, the Braves still have an undefeated record in the district at 2-0.

The Sawyer Flashes came to Parshall on Tuesday, and were another tough test for the Braves. The 8-8 Flashes jumped out to a quick lead over the Braves by as many as nine points, but the Braves fought back before falling
