Parshall track teams headed to state meet
Kenny Wells qualifies in 4 boys’ events, Woods qualifies in 4 girls’ events

Thirteen athletes on the Parshall track and field team have qualified for and will be competing in the state track meet in Bismarck this weekend.
Kenny Wells leads the pack as he has qualified in all four events in which he competes; the 800, 1600 and 3200-meter runs, as well as the 3200-meter relay that he runs with Trey Bruce, Dexter Two Crow and Jade Moran.
Alexis Woods, who is a freshman, has qualified in all four of her events and will be competing in her third state competition. Wells will be running in the 100 and 200-meter dashes as well as the 400-meter run. Woods is also a state qualifier in the 3200-meter relay with Desiree Wells, Kiara Packineau and Devanee Hale.
In addition to Desiree Wells, who also qualified in the 3200-meter run, Two Crow will be throwing the javelin, and Cassidy Keller, Maisey Gillies, Rayessa Odermann and Madeleinne Zacher will be running the 800-meter relay with Michelle Risan as an alternate.
