Polanco leads Braves to first win

With no upperclassmen to rely on, Parshall Braves Head Coach Coby Rabbithead has had teach a lot of leadership skills to a talented group of sophomores, a freshmen and a bunch of eighth graders this basketball season. Those lessons showed signs of taking root as the Braves came from behind in the final minute of the game to earn their first victory of the season over the Williston Trinity Crusaders 65-63.
“It was good to get our first win of the season and have it be a district win too,” Rabbithead said. “The boys really enjoyed it. They put in a lot of hard work into it so they earned it. The last couple games we have come up short. We come out aggressive and then kind of burn out.”
