Sylling named to National Federation High School board

Sylling named to National Federation High School board
Sherm Sylling, executive secretary for the North Dakota High School Activities (NDHSAA), assumed his newly elected position to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) board of directors.
Sylling represents NFHS Section 5 states which includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas, and Missouri.  The NFHS Board is made up of 12 members representing 18,500 high schools and more than 11 million students involved in athletic and activity programs nationwide.
Sylling was named executive secretary of the NDHSAA in 1999, after serving as a superintendent of schools in North Dakota for 29 years. Sylling is a former board member of the NDHSAA and former president of the North Dakota Association of School Administrators.
