Turnovers key to Braves victory
The Parshall Braves took advantage of six turnovers to whip the Surrey Mustangs in the Braves’ season opener in Surrey.
The Braves opened the scoring with a safety in the opening quarter as Surrey senior running back Ethan Campbell was tackled in the end zone.
The Surrey defense was stout for the entire game, forcing two Parshall turnovers on the Braves’ first three possessions plus another turnover later in the game.
