Lady Eagles lose to Ranchers in close game

The New Town Lady Eagles hosted the Powers Lake Ranchers in volleyball action on Tuesday night at the Northern Lights Building. The Lady Eagles lost in a very close match that went to all five games.
The Lady Eagles started out with two wins in the first two sets. In the first set, the Lady Eagles started out hot going up 4-0 before they ultimately won 25-13.
In the next set, the Lady Eagles went up early again starting the match out 6-2. Their biggest lead in the second set came late as they went up 23-12 before winning the second match 25-16.
The third match proved to be the turning point for the Eagles as they fell to an early 0-6 lead to the Ranchers. The Lady Eagles tried to mount a late comeback as they came as close as three points, 15-18, before losing the third match 17-25.
