Miners take down Eagles
The Beulah Miners spoiled Senior Night at New Town High School by downing the Eagles 50-33.
The Eagles got off to a fast start with a 7-2 run in the opening minutes of the game. The Miners soon caught up to Eagles to take the lead 9-7 with 3:30 to go in the fi rst quarter. Th e teams traded the lead a few times but the Miners took the lead for good on a three pointer at the end of the fi rst quarter, 15-12.
