This time it wasn’t just the Alex Baker show.
Sophomore Donovan Lambert had something to say in the Charlie Hanneman Memorial track meet when he went on to claim top spot in the 3200-meter run with a solid run of 10:19, qualifying him for the state track meet at the end of this month.
Lambert beat Rugby’s Erik Wangler by nearly a minute on Pierce County track. It was the best time Lambert has run to date.
In addition, he ran a solid second-place finish in the 1600-meter run, crossing the finish line in 4:42, just six seconds behind Parshall’s Kenny Wells who ran a state qualifying time of 4:36.
