New Town wrestlers named to All-Conference team
New Town wrestlers named to All-Conference team
The Northwest Conference has selected 17 wrestlers as All-Conference and 11 as honorable mention for the 2009 season. Several New Town wrestlers are included on the list of both.
All-Conference wrestlers include Justin Grinnell at 130 pounds, Jeremy Grinnell at 135 pounds, Billy Hall, 145 pounds and Eric Danks, 215 pounds. Hall was the lone Eagle grappler to win a state championship.
Honorable mention wrestlers include Jess Hall, 119 pounds, Jesse Bear, 140 pounds, Jace Uran, 160 pounds and Slade Stringer, 189 pounds.
