CMC cheer squad hosts mini camp in Underwood

The CMC Cheer Squad ran its second annual Mini Cheer Camp at Underwood School on Saturday. The camp was divided into Prek-
kindergarten, first-second grade, third-fourth grade, and fifth-sixth grade teams. Every team learned a dance routine and a “school cheer” which they performed together and individually for family and friends at the end of the event. “This is an opportunity for the younger students in the community to work with our high school cheerleaders to see what cheer is all about,”Coach Cailey Ferber said. “It brings all of our surrounding communities together as the mini cheerleaders perform the material they learned at the camp during the home football game.”
