Commissioners look to future development

By Michael Johnson, Editor

Underwood city commissioners discussed building sizes during their last regular meeting. They agreed that they would like to see storage buildings not to exceed 14-foot sidewalls and not to exceed 64 feet long. They will have that language placed into an ordinance to be read in the future meetings. Commissioner Steve Cottingham said that buildings larger than that should be built in the industrial park. Dave Kapanke was approved for a building permit for a shed. Commissioners approved the sale of Lot 2 of the Westridge Estates to Tobi Opp. There are five lots in the Westridge Estates for sale for $1. All sales are contingent on the buyer building on the property within one year.
