Dollar General grand opening set

Folks have already been turning in off of US Highway 83 to stop at the new Dollar General, but they’ve been turned away as the store isn’t quite ready to open yet.
For the past week, workers have been busy setting up display areas and stocking the shelves, and interviews for new employees are being held, all in advance of the store’s impending opening.
Dollar General will hold a soft opening in advance of its grand opening, according to Angela Petkovic, Dollar General Corporation Public Relations. The soft opening will tentatively be in the next two weeks, she noted in a written statement, but that timeline is subject to final store preparations.
The official grand opening celebration is tentatively set for the first week in September.
