Harvest Fest is Saturday

By Michael Johnson, Editor

Excitement is building around town as Harvest Fest is almost here. As the hours tick down for the big event on Saturday, area residents are preparing floats and planning ways to serve up food to the hundreds expected to fill the streets in Underwood. If you’ve never been to the event, then you can expect a very family-friendly event with games for the kids and adults. There are ways to win prizes and ways to keep you and the whole family fed. It’s the event for the community to come out as a family and see each other before the cold and snow shutters us into our homes again. For those returning, you can expect new food on the street and new floats at the parade. The Underwood Civic Club is working hard and volunteering many hours to make sure that you have a great time in Underwood and visit its businesses while you are here. Flyers for the big event are placed all around town, but in case you want to learn more, here is a listing of the events.
