McLean County participates in salary survey
Fox Lawson and Associations out of St. Paul helps companies strategically align employee compensation and benefit dollars. During Tuesday’s meeting, the McLean County Commission held a conference call with Mike Fox, of the company. The general hope for the county is to have Fox Lawson and Associates assist in determining the salaries of county employees. Fox offered extensive information in relation to their survey, arriving at new numbers and salaries that will directly affect the county employees. The goal of the survey is to assess jobs on the market, and create a salary structure and offer guidelines to keep McLean County in the competitive market. The surveys included an evaluation, which the supervisor would fill out about the employee, and the employee would fill out about him or herself.
