McLean County public health sets protocol for measles

After a recent outbreak of measles in North Dakota, local county leaders and health officials have implemented policies in case a suspected measles case enters McLean County.
First District Health Unit – McLean County Public Health Nurse for Washburn Pamela Fischer presented information regarding the measles outbreak to the County Commission on May 6.
During the meeting, which took place at the courthouse in Washburn, Fischer asked commissioners to consider a closures protocol in case someone with suspect measles case visits Fischer’s office at the courthouse.
