After talking about increasing security measures at the Underwood City Hall and the recent approval to install security cameras, the 10 cameras are up and running. The four exterior cameras are focused on each of the doors and beyond, the exterior camera on the south side of the building reaching across Summit St. and covering the first curve into town off of the old Hwy. 83 loop, while the camera that covers the rear east door also reaches beyond the city hall property to the loop. The cameras, which cost the city about $8800 from New Vision, have already come in handy, noted city auditor Diane Schell, who from her office can watch the live action on the cameras or the recorded footage.
