Sign up today to market Underwood

No one could disagree with economic and community developer Becky Bowen when she said that Underwood has a lot going for it already. But when looking at ways to use those assets and how to implement some activity to market Underwood everyone brought a different idea. And that’s exactly what the point of the second Energized Underwood marketing meeting was. They gathered a variety of people with different backgrounds and different ideas with the same frame of mind about making Underwood the place to be. Members discussed a way to market Underwood based on a plan of action put together by Bowen. The same number of people showed up at the meeting; however, seven of the faces were new. Looking at three types of customers---travelers, tourists and potential residents and business owners, Bowen listened to the different ideas of the members and put together a list of steering committees that she thought should be formed to make them happen. These are in addition to the plans that Bowen is working to see through.
