Sweet corn for a cause
Underwood High School’s sophomore athlete, Chris Heger, combined his passion for sports and community service over the weekend as he dedicated his time to fundraise for the Maren Staigle Medical Benefit, a cause close to Heger’s heart as Staigle is the daughter of one of the Central McLean football coaches – Logan Staigle.
The event, which is scheduled for October 7 in Turtle Lake, aims to alleviate the medical expenses burdening the Staigle family due to Maren’s health challenges.
