In a game featuring plenty of offense from both dugouts, the Garrison Titans surged past Hazen Post 189 with a late rally to secure a 21-6 road victory on Monday night.
The contest was a back-and-forth battle early, with both teams exchanging runs in the opening innings.
The Titans struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the first, but Hazen answered right back in the bottom half to tie the game 2-2.
Garrison grabbed momentum in the third inning with a three-run frame, only to see Hazen respond again, plating three runs of their own in the fourth to close the gap to 6-5.
From there, however, the Titans’ bats took over.
Garrison exploded for six runs in the sixth and nine more in the seventh to break the game open, finishing with 17 hits on the night.
