TL Chamber holds cornhole tournament
Nine teams participated in Turtle Lake’s first cornhole tournament, organized by the Chamber of Progress. Held at the Turtle Lake American Legion hall. the double elimination tournament raised funds to support the annual Turtle Days events. Local restaurant The Coffee Joint donated food for the athletes. “For the first year, this was a great turnout,” Rachel Thomas of the Chamber said. “The Legion was happy to accommodate us for the event, and having The Coffee Joint donate food was great. We hope to make this an annual fundraiser.
