Turtle Lake Commission advances street project, approves property sales
sion advanced several infrastructure projects and approved the sale of cityowned property during its regular meeting March 9.
Mayor Dianne Zenker and commissioners Stacie Adams, Tim Britton and Rick Schwalk were present for the meeting. Commissioner Matt Lang was absent. City Auditor Michelle Pickett and representatives from Moore Engineering also attended, along with five members of the public.
Engineering and infrastructure updates
Representatives from Moore Engineering provided updates on several ongoing and upcoming city projects. Work on the USDAfunded sewer lining project has been completed, with all liners installed. A final walkthrough for the project was scheduled for March 13. The commission discussed the amount of liquidated damages to be withheld on the project.
