Underwood residents’ input encouraged for comprehensive plan

The City of Underwood has commissioned Burian & Associates and Praxis Strategy Group to complete a comprehensive plan for the community. The study presents an opportunity to establish economic priorities for the community, st rategical ly plan for increasing population growth while maintaining a smalltown feel and strong sense of community pride, preserve strong schools and educational
system, maintain existing infrastructure systems, and revitalize and breathe life into existing underutilized and aging areas of town including expansion of retail, business, and housing opportunities. The Consulting Team and Underwood Area Economic Development (UAEDC) are asking residents to complete a survey to help guide the plan outlook. The online survey consists of 21 questions and takes
about 10 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed several ways. Visit (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/UnderwoodFuture) or scan the provided QR code with a smartphone camera to take the online survey.
