Vetter named one of North Dakota’s Faces of Manufacturing

When Amanda Vetter opened an email from colleague Haylie Weigel earlier this summer, she expected a routine update. Instead, she learned she had been selected as one of the Greater North Dakota Chamber’s 2026 Faces of Manufacturing — one of only 10 honorees statewide. The recognition, which highlights standout leaders shaping one of North Dakota’s largest industries, left Vetter both surprised and humbled.
The Faces of Manufacturing program, now in its fourth year, celebrates the people behind the products made in North Dakota. Honorees represent the innovation, mentorship and daytoday dedication that keep the state’s manufacturing sector moving. For Vetter, director of accounting and financial systems at Harvestone Low Carbon Partners, the honor reflects nearly 20 years of work in an industry she has helped grow from the ground up.
Vetter joined the Blue Flint Ethanol facility in Underwood just months before production began. At the time, ethanol production was still new to many North Dakotans, and the facility’s early years required constant problemsolving, collaboration and a willingness to learn. Vetter said those challenges shaped her career and strengthened her appreciation for the people she worked alongside.
