Welcome to the Hunger Games

Fans of The Hunger Games books or movies won’t want to miss the Underwood Public Library’s tribute to The Hunger Games this Friday.

In honor of the final Hunger Game – Mocking Jay Part II, movie coming out Thanksgiving weekend, the Underwood Library is putting on a Hunger Games movie trivia night and archery adventure where youth can "shoot" at the villains of the movie at the city hall from 6:30-8 p.m.

Underwood Librarian Harmony Higbie says the night is organized to entertain anyone who is a fan of the Hunger Games, typically junior high through high school students.

While the library is always putting on events for younger children to encourage them to read, this seemed like a perfect time to bring something for the older kids.

"I thought we haven’t done anything fun for the teens for awhile, so we’re going to do the movie trivia.

"Some of them might not actually have read the books, so we decided to go with the movie trivia instead of the books," said Higbie.
