Big seventh inning propels Central McLean Cougars in win over Harvey-Wells County

A nine - run seventh inning led the Cougars to a 16-4 victory Monday during the first day of the Region 4 Softball Tournament at the Wolf Softball Complex in Beulah.
Harvey Wells County captured the lead in the first inning, but CMC took the lead for the rest of the game in the fourth inning with a double from Bailey Gross, who scored one run.
The Cougars racked up nine runs in the seventh inning. Schlafmann, Smith, Fischer, Schlafmann, Heger and Irwin each drove in runs in tight succession.
