Class B athletes highlighted in NDHSCA Postseason Honors
Several local athletes and coaches earned statewide recognition following the conclusion of the 2026 North Dakota high school girls basketball season, as the North Dakota High School Coaches Association announced its annual awards and All State selections.
Players and coaches from Central McLean, Washburn, and Garrison were among those honored, highlighting the strong season for programs across the region.
Central McLean head coach Kipp Sparrow was named the NDHSCA Division B Girls Basketball Coach of the Year after guiding the Cougars through an outstanding season that culminated with a runner-up finish at the Class B State Tournament.
Sparrow also received the NDHSCA SUBWAY Coach of the Year award, recognizing his leadership and the success of the Central McLean program throughout the year.
Central McLean junior Morgan Snyder was also recognized among the state’s elite players, earning First Team Class B All State honors.
Snyder played a key role in the Cougars’ run to the state championship game and was one of the tournament’s top scorers throughout the postseason.
