The Underwood boys basketball team has created some excitement for Comet basketball fans this season. Last Friday night was no exception. The boys scored 40 points in the first half of play against the Garrison Troopers. The Comet lead was at 14 as the Comets headed to the locker room for the break. The lead remained at 10 at the end of the third, but the Troopers were fighting their way back. The Troopers got their first lead with under two minutes left in regulation, 73-72. With just 52 seconds left in the game, junior Dillon Aldinger dropped the front end of the two-point foul shot to tie the game at 73.
