Comets face Cossacks in opener

Friday morning, with one regular season game to go before the upcoming District 10 basketball tournament, Underwood Head Coach Alex Jangula was asked to look ahead a little.
The fifth-seeded Comets are scheduled to take on fourth-seed, Max, in Friday’s 4 p.m. District 10 tournament. There are a few things the Comets need to do to advance to the Region 5 tourney.
"We just want to bring everything together, all phases of the game," said Jangula.
There are a couple of particular things to focus on in the tournament opener, said Jangula, "Shot selection, and stopping their big guy, Thompson."
Thompson scored 27 points in the Cossacks’ earlier defeat of the Comets this season.
