The Comets sauntered to a pair of wins on the volleyball court, hammering both of their opponents by the score of 3-0.
Tuesday at Standing Rock, the Comets easily handled the home-standing Warriors, giving up just four points in the second set.
The regional match against Turtle Lake-Mercer/McClusky was also over in quick fashion as the hosting Comets sealed the win in three quick sets.
“We played well,” summed up Comets’ Co-Coach Clarissa Kruger, regarding both matches.
Regarding the match against the Trojans, the Comets were able to use their power and ability to recognize what the Trojans were doing to stop them.
“We were about to utilize our hitters tonight,” said Kruger. “They started with double blockers in the middle, so we were able to get the ball to our outside, then they took off the middle blocker so we were able to use our middles again.”
