Comets look for scrappy ‘D’

After only a couple days of practice, Underwood’s first-year head volleyball coach Jordyn Singer was still figuring out what her team’s strengths – individually and team-wise – should be this season.
One thing she discerned pretty quickly was that she’s got a team that likes to hustle for the ball.
“As a team we work really hard – and we’re scrappy,” said Singer. “They’re enthusiastic, they’ve got lots of energy, and they get really loud.”
Looking to lead the way this year on a team with six seniors are veterans Maggie Eng, Milah Kibbel and Taysha Snyder.
Eng, the team’s libero, will be looked to for some big pick-ups from the back row, while Kibbel and Snyder will be looking to score from the front row.
