Cottingham Insurance Scramble raises nearly $4,000
Cottingham Insurance combined a day on the golf course with support for area causes during its fourth annual Customer Appreciation Charity Golf Scramble Friday.
The tournament drew 71 participants and raised $3,970 for nonprofit organizations serving local communities. All proceeds from the annual scramble are donated to nonprofits and community groups.
“The golf scramble is centered around giving back to our communities, with 100% of the proceeds going to local nonprofits and community organizations,” Toni Cottingham said. “This year, together, we raised more than $3,970.”
The Dream Center received $1,800 from the event, while $1,020 was directed to the Western North Dakota Honor Flight. That amount included a donation from 50/50 raffle winner Tim Llewellyn, who returned his winnings to the Honor Flight.
