Cougar boys notch pair of wins

Things are on an upswing in the early going of the 2020-21 season for the Central McLean Cougar boys basketball team, as the Cougars notched two wins on the hard court this past week, knocking off Surrey Friday night in Underwood by the score of 57-51 before bumping off Nedrose Saturday in Turtle Lake by the score of 56-47.
“It is always nice to get a couple victories,” said Cougar Head Coach Alex Jangula. “Our defense was better this weekend compared to the first game but we still have a lot of work to do.”
The Cougars took early leads in both games, but excelled in different aspects of the games.
