Cougars Baseball set to open season with depth, experience, and talent
The Central McLean Cougars Baseball team is gearing up for their highly anticipated season opener on Monday, April 8, when they travel to Velva for a doubleheader against the Velva-Drake/Anamoose Aggies.
With a deep pitching roster, strong senior leadership, and an exciting crop of underclassmen, Head Coach Alexander Quintaine is optimistic about what lies ahead for the Cougars in the 2025 campaign.
“The group is looking really good during the first couple weeks of practice,” Quintaine said. “We have a good group of kids coming back that have previous varsity experience. We will have the most pitching depth we’ve had during my tenure as the head coach of the program.”
