Cougars dominate Hazen 50-8

The Central McLean Cougars closed out another strong week of football with a commanding 50-8 win over the Hazen Bison on Friday, October 10, in Turtle Lake.
The victory marked the Cougars’ seventh of the season, keeping them firmly in contention near the top of the Class A Region 4 standings, while Hazen’s loss brought their season to a close at 0-8.
Central McLean wasted little time asserting control on their home field, mixing an efficient passing game with a relentless ground attack that quickly built a sizable first-half lead.
The Cougars’ offense executed with precision, while their defense proved equally dominant, disrupting Hazen’s rhythm, forcing turnovers, and limiting the Bison to a single touchdown late in the contest.
“We came out and did what we needed to accomplish,” said Cougars Head Coach Grant Singer. “The kids had a good week of preparation.”
