Cougars lead the way on Class B All-State Tournament Team

Following a historic run to the 2026 NDHSAA Class B State Championship, the Central McLean Cougars were well represented among the state’s top individual honors, headlined by multiple All-State Tournament Team selections, the Tournament MVP award, and Coach of the Year recognition.
Central McLean’s presence on the All-State Tournament Team was led by Bridger Rittenbach and Aiden Hanson, both of whom played key roles throughout the Cougars’ undefeated championship season.
Their performances during the state tournament helped anchor a roster that showcased depth, balance, and consistency from start to finish.
Hanson’s impact was especially notable, as he was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
The senior guard led by example throughout the weekend, delivering strong performances in each of Central McLean’s three victories while serving as a steady leader on both ends of the floor.
His ability to elevate teammates and perform in key moments reflected the same qualities that defined the Cougars’ 28-0 season.
Rittenbach also played a crucial role in the Cougars’ championship run, providing consistent scoring and a physical presence that helped Central McLean control the tempo in each game.
