Cougars meet Napoleon in season opener

Although the Central McLean Cougars opened the 2009 season with a loss, the game was a non-conference game and co-head coach Keith Sundquist stated, "We came away with some areas where we need to make improvements." Co-head coach Kevin Dockter added, "We turned the ball over nine times and that makes it hard to get into any kind of offensive rhythm." Senior quarterback Jordan Sundquist was injured and had to leave the field and sophomore back-up quarterback Matt Landenberger took the helm for a majority of the game.
