Cougars start season with new coach

By Michael Johnson, Editor

The Central McLean Cougars have quite a few younger players joining the ranks of the team this year led by a new head coach. The few leaders in the group will have a strong role in this spring season. The team started out the season against two tough teams, Shiloh on March 27 and Washburn-Wilton-Center-Stanton April 5. The Cougars held on by their claws through most of the game against Shiloh as they led 1-0 in the fourth inning. It was in that last inning that the Cougars made an error, and Shiloh took control as they went on to score six points in the fifth inning. The Cougars had one error and five hits in that game. Shiloh had no errors and six hits.
