Cougars turn over win to Cardinals

By Tim Hanson, BHG News Service

The Central McLean Cougars suffered a pair of losses the past two weeks. The Cougars were defeated by the Richardton/ Taylor/ Hebron Raiders last week 32-8. And on Friday the Cougars were beaten by the Washburn Cardinals. The Cougars will have to win their remaining two games, then have a couple of teams win and lose the right games if CMC is going to see the playoffs. The Cardinals took the opening kickoff then marched down the field where Brett Schreiner scored on a six-yard run at the 9:47 mark. The PAT failed. The Cougars’ first possession started on their own 35-yard line. After a first down, the Cougars lost a fumble at their own 44-yard line.
