The McLean County Speedway will have a doubleheader of racing this Friday and Saturday as drivers and race enthusiasts try to pack as much high-speed action into the shortened racing season as they can. Action starts at the McLean County Speedway in Underwood at 7 p.m. this Friday night, and at 6 p.m. Saturday as the speedway brings “MidSummer Chaos” to the track in conjunction with this weekend’s MidSummer Classic car and bike show. The ultranimble 700-horsepower Wissota Late Models along with the lightweight
wingless sprint cars, Wissota Street Stocks, Outlaw Hobby Stocks, Legends and Trophy Class will be competing for the checkered flag this weekend, bringing a variety of driving and
racing to the speedway. “Four of those classes haven’t run here in many years, so it will be some fresh action,”commented McLean County Speedway’s Ben Seidler.
