Central McLean’s Lindsey Duben carded a 205 at the Class B State Girls’ Golf Tournament held this past Tuesday and Wednesday at Carrington’s CrossRoads Golf Course, finishing in 62nd place among the top Class B girl golfers. Duben carded a 103 on the first day of the tournament, and a 102 on day two, carding an impressive 46 on the back nine of the 18-hole course.

The 46 would have been a pretty decent score for any golfer, she noted, not just her.

"The front nine were a little bit harder than the back nine," noted Duben. "I liked the back nine. It was nice and flat. I like that."

Jada Mattson of Heart River took medalist honors, shooting a 153 for the two-day tournament, carding a 76 and 77.
