Five Cougars heading to state track and field

The Central McLean Cougars have a powerful force in their boys 400 and 800 meter relay teams. The members, Nicholas Wertz, Dylan Ruff, Aaron Morman and Jacob Ruff are representing their school at the state track and field competition this weekend. But Central McLean also has a solo field representative by the name of Dillon Aldinger. Aldinger tosses a hard discus and will also be a representative of the school at the state competition. A lot of hard work in recent weeks brought the members of the team to the qualifying spots, according to coach Lee Weisgarber. “The last few meets were nice weather and we had good improvements,” Weisgarber said.
