Heger cards personal best
The CMC girls golf team competed in two Region 4 individual qualifiers this past week, one being called short because of the weather, the other being a beautiful day for golf.
Last Thursday, Shayna Crimmins, Lauren Jacobson and Emma Brunelle traveled to Velva for the first of two individual qualifiers.
At that meet, the teams battled through frigid temps, prompting the coaches to call the meet after nine holes.
Crimmins led the Cougars with a 56, Jacobson scored a 61 and Brunelle carded a 64.
On Monday, Crimmins, Keelia Charging and Payton Heger made up the Cougar varsity team.
