Instead of burger time, it was "berger time" Saturday as Underwood’s Lindsey Landenberger and Brooke Weisenberger both made good on all of their serves on the Comets’ way to a 3-0 drubbing of homestanding New Town on the volleyball court.

The Comets missed their goal of making good on 90 percent of their serves, but Landenberger went 13-for-13 with six aces, and Weisenberger went 6-for-6, with all but one of her serves an ace.

"Our serving was very consistent," said Comet coach Mary Hefta.

Hefta also credited the team’s variety of attacks for the win.

"I was very pleased with the teamwork, the chatter, and really mixing it up on offense," she said. "We were utilizing the back row attack, we utilized tipping.

"Everybody hit the ball," she added.
