Region 4 honors area standouts

The postseason accolades are in for Region 4 girls basketball, and several familiar names from District 8 programs headline this year’s All-Region selections.
Athletes from Central McLean Cougars, Washburn Cardinals, Wilton-Wing Miners, and Garrison Troopers were well represented on the Girls Region 4 All-Region Team, highlighting the depth of talent across the area.
Leading the way for Central McLean was Morgan Snyder, who earned All-Region recognition after helping guide the Cougars through a strong season and postseason run.
Snyder’s steady presence and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor made her one of the most reliable performers in the district.
Wilton-Wing’s Sophia Krush also secured a spot on the All-Region list.
Krush has been a consistent offensive threat and competitor for the Miners, drawing attention from opposing defenses throughout the season.
Her selection underscores the impact she had in keeping Wilton-Wing competitive in a challenging district.
Washburn placed two athletes on the All-Region Team in Kesia Boeshans and Chev Obering.
