Snyder surpasses 1,000 career kills
Central McLean senior outside hitter Morgan Snyder added a major achievement to her volleyball career Thursday, Sept. 24, surpassing 1,000 career kills during the Cougars’ victory over Washburn.
Snyder reached the milestone as Central McLean defeated the Cardinals in four sets, 3-1. The victory completed an unbeaten week for the Cougars and improved their season record to 15-2.
Reaching 1,000 career kills is a significant accomplishment for any volleyball player and reflects Snyder’s productivity throughout her time with the program. The milestone also came during an important District 8 contest as Central McLean remained perfect in both district and regional play.
As an outside hitter, Snyder has been one of the Cougars’ primary offensive options. Her latest achievement highlights the consistency and impact she has provided across multiple seasons, with each swing contributing to a career total that has now reached four digits.
The milestone made Thursday’s victory especially memorable, but the result itself also carried weight in the standings. Central McLean improved to 5-0 in District 8 and 5-0 in Region 4 competition while keeping pace with Flasher at the top of both races.
