Timely hitting leads Titans over Stanley

By Jesse Wagner, Summer Intern

Clutch hitting was the story for the Garrison-Max-Central McLean Titans Monday, as they beat Stanley 14-8 in Garrison. The Titans thrived under pressure, scoring their first nine runs, and 13 of their 14 total runs, with two outs. After his monster game this past Thursday, Andrew Haugen was moved from batting fifth to clean up on Monday. Haugen responded in a big way, going 4-5 with four RBIs. Starting pitcher Ramsey Crawford helped his own cause, also going 4-5, driving in three runs. Randy Essler and Brookes Reinholt each drove in two runs. Gabe Lassila and Brett O’Grady also chipped in with RBIs.
