The Trojans boys picked up a pair of wins this past week defeating Underwood 59-56 Saturday night and Mandaree 55-53 Friday night both games were on the Trojans home court.
Against the Comets, Parker Christianson was the game’s high scorer with 28 points for the Comets. Trapper Jacobs paced the Trojans with 26.
AJ Ketterling got the Trojans on the scoreboard first with a triple and followed with two doubles and it looked like it was going to be a run away as the Trojans led 7-0 just a little over a minute into the game. But, the Comets answered back with Christianson starting and 11-0 run for the Comets with a free throw and a couple of buckets.
The Comets ended the quarter with a 6-0 run to lead 19-12 after one.
The Comets started the second quarter expanding their 6-0 run from the first quarter to a 14-0 run scoring the  first 8 points and taking a 27-12 lead at the 4:55 mark as the Comets were not missing many shots.
A free throw from Gunner Jacobs ended the Comets run and a few seconds later Trapper Jacobs scored a triple to cut the Comets lead to 27-16 but Kayden Hornberger answered with a deuce to make it 29-16.
