Changes are coming to healthcare
Sadie Wardner, Out-reach and Enrollment Coordinator for North-land Community Health Center in Turtle Lake, presented information to the Turtle Lake community on Sept 24 regarding upcoming healthcare changes. She also presented to the McClusky community, on Monday, Sept 23.
McClusky JDA selects day care options
The McClusky Job Devel-opment Authority met on Sept 24 for their regular meeting, with four of five members present. McClusky Mayor Theresa Jorgenson presented the appointment of Joey Belile (Bryon Belile, JR) for the vacated position of Jordan Froehlich.
United Tribes opposes power line
The state’s Native American tribes have openly opposed Basin Electric Power Cooperative’s plans to build transmission line across a battlefield site that researchers call "the Gettysburg of the Plains."

Each earning their associates degree from Wahpeton but in completely different areas, Shannon and Amber (Bertsch) Scheurer are now parents to twin girls, a little boy, a high school student and living on a farm east of McClusky.
Road work repairs looking good
With a slow but steady progress many of the minor and not-so-minor road fixes have been done. The Sheridan County Highway Dept has been hard at work, aided by FEMA funding assistance and other work crews.
City meeting short
With a brief report from maintenance, none from police, the regular Sept 9 meeting of the McClusky City Council lasted less than 45 minutes.
