Darn kid. He just doesn’t listen. As Friday night’s opening kickoff went soaring through the air, Central McLean coach Kevin Dockter could be heard muttering to himself, “catch the ball.”

Drake/Anamoose Raiders hosted a volleyball game at Drake on Thursday evening, Sept. 20, against Bottineau Stars.
Cougars notch win No. 4
The Cougars easily bumped off home-standing Bowman County this past Friday 50-6 on the wings of another nearly 200-yard rushing effort (199 yards) from senior running back Dylan Ruff, upping the Cougars’ record to 4-1.

Wing Rodeo to be held June 23-24
With less than a month before the chute gates fly at the Sixty-Fifth Annual Wing Rodeo, it’s fair to say that “I”s are starting to get dotted and “T”s are starting to get crossed.
The Central McLean Cou-gar boys placed fifth at the Stutsman County Meet at Carrington last Tuesday as Aaron Morman jumped a season-best high jump of 5-10 to win the high jump competition. Morman scored 17 points to pace the Cougars, as they finished the meet with 65 points. Carrington won the meet with 194 points.
